The GCP has a proven track record in bringing together resources to develop and execute collaborative economic development strategies in Camden.  In addition to managing Camden’s Clean & Safe program, the GCP is playing a leading role in many of Camden’s most significant redevelopment efforts, including the funding and construction of a $35 million community center, the development of the “anchor institution” redevelopment program, and the design and execution of redevelopment plans along the Market Street and Haddon Avenue commercial corridors. 

 

Since 2001, the GCP has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the goal of increasing security and prosperity in every corner of the city.  We believe that the successful framework for rebuilding Downtown Camden should serve as the roadmap for revitalizing Camden’s neighborhoods--solid leadership, a coordinated agenda for improvement, strategic investments and clean and safe public spaces.
