City of Camden Standing Up and Moving Forward

Courier Post- Wells Fargo grants mark the first new money presented to combined forces
The Wells Fargo regional foundation will give Cooper's Ferry Development Association $748,000 to jump- start projects in North Camden. This, along with a second grant totaling $998,000, will be used to help housing and three Camden neighborhoods.
Philly.com- Mayor Redd declares Camden is open for business
At the annual meeting, Mayor Redd outlined the plans for a formation of a team that will focus on economic policy and expedited development approvals to make Camden more business-friendly. The new Business Growth and Development Team will operate under the Mayor's Office, and according to city spokesman Robert Corrales, will be a "one-stop shop" for businesses.

On Thursday, Mayor Dana Redd introduced the city's first ombudsman and a newly created business development team at the 2011 annual meeting.
